Aurion Announces $5 Million Private Placement

Aurion Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: AU) (OTCQX: AIRRF) (“Aurion” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Cormark Securities Inc. and a syndicate of agents (collectively, the “Agents”), pursuant to which the Agents have agreed to act as agents for and on behalf of the Company, on a fully marketed basis, without underwriter liability, in connection with a proposed private placement offering of no less than 5,882,350 common shares (the “Shares”) of the Company at a price of $0.85 per Share, for aggregate gross proceeds of no less than $5 million (the “Offering”). The definitive size of the Offering shall be determined in the context of the market following successful marketing of the Offering.

The Company plans to use the net proceeds from the Offering for exploration and general corporate and working capital purposes.

The Offering is scheduled to close on or about February 23, 2021 and is subject to certain conditions including, but not limited to, the receipt of all necessary approvals including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange and the securities regulatory authorities.
